Q: What’s in it?

A: wild-caught sockeye salmon from Bristol Bay, Alaska, Oregon grown Dulse Seaweed and Rosemary extract (to preserve freshness) Freeze-dried. That’s it. No fillers, no additives, no artificial anything.

Q: Who catches the salmon?

A: Our co-founder Nick and fellow Bristol Bay fishermen. Every fish is traceable to the Bristol Bay Fishery and season.

Q: Will it smell like fish?

A: Wild sockeye salmon is a leaner, cleaner fish than other salmon - especially farmed salmon - resulting in a milder aroma and cleaner-smelling treat. Its naturally lower fat content helps reduce the strong fishy odor common in many salmon treats.

Q: When and how much should I use?

A: Use our Salmon & Seaweed Topper during morning and evening meals, starting with 1 teaspoon per cup of dog food and adjust to your dog’s preference. This is a supplement, not a replacement.

Q: Will it change the taste of my dog’s food?

A: Yes. That’s the point. Dogs love wild salmon and the Salmon & Seaweed Topper adds protein and omega-3s to whatever they’re already eating.

Q: Why don’t more pet treats use sockeye?

A: Wild Bristol Bay sockeye is harder to source consistently and commands a premium price. Many brands choose less expensive species to lower costs. As fishermen with direct ties to this fishery, we built Bristol Bay Bites around access to a salmon we believe is unmatched in quality—and worth doing right.

Q: Can my cat eat this treat?

A: This topper isn't formulated for cats, and we'd recommend checking with your vet before sharing it. Seaweed like dulse is naturally high in iodine, and cats are especially sensitive to iodine intake — it's tied to feline thyroid health. Rosemary extract is generally used safely as a preservative, but there isn't the same track record of use in cats as in dogs. If your cat's curious, ask your vet first rather than assuming it's fine.

Q: Can I eat these treats?

A: While our freeze-dried treats are made from high-quality, human-grade ingredients, they are intended and labeled for pet consumption only. Because they are produced and marketed as pet food, we can't recommend them for human consumption.

Q: What’s your return policy?

A: If your dog doesn’t love it, contact us within 30 days and we’ll make it right.

Lucky is 14 years old and is not a hearty eater anymore

Lucky is 14 years old and is not a hearty eater anymore. Using the salmon plus seaweed topper has brought him back to the bowl! By adding it to his regular food the aroma draws him in and the taste gets him eating!

What a wonderful update about Lucky! At 14, getting him excited about mealtime again is such a win, and we love that the salmon and seaweed aroma is what does the trick. Thank you for sharing this, it means a lot to hear it's helping him eat well in his golden years.

Our dog loves the Bristol Bay Salmon & Seaweed topper! He's even come to know the sound when it's

Our dog loves the Bristol Bay Salmon & Seaweed topper! He's even come to know the sound when it's shaken from the container. He has a history of skin issues and we believe the nutritional boost from the salmon & seaweed helps support healthy skin.

We love that he knows the sound of the topper coming out! No sneaking that past him! Thanks for making us part of his mealtime routine, Terry. We're so glad he's enjoying it.

Got our older dogs interested in their kibble again

Our dogs love the topper. Two of our older dogs had been getting picky about their dry food. We tried adding some soft food but they just ate that and left the dry food. Peanut butter flavored topper worked sometimes, but not others. Started using this and they eat every last morsel now.

From picking around the kibble to eating every last morsel - that’s so great to hear! We’re glad the topper has your older dogs excited about mealtime again. Thanks for giving it a try and sharing this with us.

Quality food topper

If our dog even sees the topper bottle she stares at it and whines. She is obsessed.

Our dog loves every product

Our dog loves every product, especially the belly bites. Bonus is that our cats love the salmon & seaweed topper. Appreciate the clean nature of the products (simple ingredients) traceable straight from the source of one of the most sustainable fisheries on the planet

Thank you for this! So glad the Belly Bites are a hit, and it's always fun to hear the cats are sneaking in on the action too. Simple ingredients you can trust matter a lot to us, and Bristol Bay really is about as sustainable and traceable as fisheries get. Thanks for feeding your whole crew with us!

I am surprised on this one - my pup really enjoys this topper

I am surprised on this one - my pup really enjoys this topper. She is particular and not at all food motivated.

That means a lot! Winning over a picky, non-food-motivated pup is the real test! So glad it's a hit.

Our pets can’t get enough!

We’ve been topping both or dog and cat’s food with this for about a week now. They’ve been gobbling up every last crumb of their food since. They are big fans, and I don’t think they’ll ever go back to just their boring, naked kibble after this!

Thanks, Trina! We love hearing that both your dog and cat are enjoying the topper. Making mealtime more exciting while adding the benefits of wild Bristol Bay sockeye salmon and Oregon seaweed is exactly what we hoped for. Thanks for your support!
